You can choose for a large range of leading brands for white goods, home entertainment, computers and technology.

We do not rent pre-owned products except under special, preapproved circumstances (usually at the client’s request). All descriptions, terms and rates are for new products only.

There are no application fees or charges.  Once your order has been approved, you will be required to make your initial rental payment.  Once that’s received your products are ordered/shipped.

All applications are completed online, however if you need to speak to someone you will deal with our Australian based call centre or your local Oze Rentals representative.  All our staff are directly invested in our clients and go out of their way to make sure they provide the best customer service possible.

Yes. There are mandatory credit history checks for all new customers. Quick and easy. They are for your protection as well as ours.

We are bound by our responsible lending obligations to ensure that all our customers have sufficient income and affordability to service their commitment to us.  We take into consideration many factors when assessing an application.  We are always looking to give our customers a fair go and our personal credit relationship with you is what matters most to us.

Our current payment methods include direct debit, bank Periodical Payment Authorities (PPA), or government benefits.

Whether it is a short-term situation, or maybe a bit longer, we can help. We understand that things can be difficult at times, so please give us a call on 1300 907 704. We have a number of arrangements we can put in place to help you through a tough period.

It’s not!

We use an online application process which can be initiated by selecting the ‘Get Started’ button on any product.  Once we have received all necessary documents, assessments are usually completed within 1-2 business days.

To complete your application, you will need to provide: proof of income, your most recent 90 day bank statement, personal identification and the names and contact numbers of at least two referees.

Yes.  Simply create a separate application for each item you want.

Yes. The applicable shipping fees are noted on all products.  All shipping costs are for a standard delivery and does not include removal of any packaging or old appliances. 

Once your application has been approved, you have signed your consumer lease and we have received your initial rental payment your goods will be ordered/shipped.  In some cases, we may experience delays that are outside our control.  We do our best to stay in constant communication with our business partners to minimise the impact on our clients.

All our products are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty. Misuse or user damage will not be covered.  Repairs and/or replacements are at the discretion of the manufacturer. In the event you have a warranty related issue, please contact our call centre on 1300 907 704.

The Agreed Rental Period is an amount of time that you select to rent a product from us at a given rate. Once this period has elapsed, you may choose to continue renting the product, or return it. Also, at this time (as at any time) you may opt to purchase (buyout) the product from us.

No, each rental is a consumer lease. Although agreements can have a set rental period, there is no guarantee of sale at the end of the lease, nor is there any buyout price determined prior to entering into the lease. Under this agreement you may return the goods without penalty or ask for a buyout price at any time, which you may choose to pay at your discretion.

Yes, you may ask for a buyout price at any time. The price provided by us will reflect the value of the product to Oze Rentals.

We encourage all members of the general public to apply, including Government benefits recipients, Veterans’ Affairs recipients, and businesses including Not-for-Profit organisations.

Yes, you must be over 18 years of age in order to rent from us.

Yes. If you operate a business with a positive cash-flow, supporting regular operational expenses that are normally tax deductible, then you can apply. We also encourage Not-for-Profit organisations, representatives of the Health & Medical sector, as well as community, sporting and church groups to apply.

Yes, in most cases, but it is highly recommended you consult your accountant or tax advisor first to make sure.

Yes, all your personal details we collect are protected and kept private in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988.

Before You Begin

Before you get started you will need to make sure you have a few things ready to upload.
You will need:
Photo ID with your current address
You will be able to submit Three months Bank Statements, Centrelink Statement (if you a Centrelink payment) and your Medicare details at the end of the application electronically

Rental Application & Agreement

This is the Rental Agreement Schedule referred to in the Rent Smarte Terms and Conditions as the Rental Agreement. The Terms and Conditions of the Rental Agreement and this Schedule form the Agreement between us. This Schedule contains important information including financial information about your Rental Agreement.

What's next

You're almost there, once you submit your application, you will be directed to the bank statement page where you can submit your bank statement, Centrelink statement (if you receive benefits) and Medicare details electronically. Your application CANNOT proceed without these.
Once you have submitted your application, we will endeavour to get back to you as soon as possible. Once approved, you will be sent a deposit payment and direct debit authority and once we have received these, your items will be shipped.
